1)Good: This is a good car; She has a good health

2)Well: the same meaning as good, but it cannot be used as an adjective. Our son is well; but it is not possible to say: We have a well son (instead: we have a good son)

3)Fine and ok: have also the same meaning, but as well, they cannot be used as adjectives. Moreover they are more informal. Our pet was sick, but now it’s fine.

Which is the best option to answer to the question how are you?

FINE

Why?

-          -Well it is used for instance, when you were sick but now you are ok. It is normally preceded by pretty.

-          -Ok. It is more common to use it in case of danger, for example. When someone falls from a ladder: are you ok?
